A day at Centre Island, Toronto

On Monday we went to Centre Island with the Lee family. We had been last year with Debbie and Tim and new that it was something that Sarah would enjoy when she was a little older. Our families got all day ride passes. The weather was a little cool and it rained off and on, which wasn't so great. However, due to the not so great weather there wasn't a lot of people and almost no line ups at all.

The kids all LOVED the fire engines

Calvin was too little to enjoy most of the rides. He liked riding the train and watching the kids.

I took Sarah on the log ride, along with Kristi and Madeline. Sarah wasn't too sure about it at first but seemed to love it!

We went on the log ride three times!

There were old fashioned cars that you actualy had to drive around the track. David pushed on the gas and Sarah drove (with some assistance).

I took Sarah on the above ride. I didnt' realize that there were no seat belts until we were actually on the ride. I was pretty nervous most of the ride, so I held Sarah pretty tight. The ride goes over the park, the animal farm, water, etc. Sarah loved seeing everything from up high, especially the animals.

The girls loved riding the boats and ringing the bell.

Looking around at the animals.

The choo choo. We rode this several times as well.
