What Christmas Means to Me

It's all about Christ at the centre. His birth, the hope that he brought to the world and God's love for us.  Second comes family.  This photo sums it up for me.

Sarah's Christmas Concert

Not a creature was stirring, not even a Mouse

Snow Day

A snow day, there isn't much better when our whole family is at home with no where to go or anything to do.  A perfect day!

David had a lot of fun making a family of snowmen.

Evening Reading

Love this pic of auntie Rebecca, Calvin and Sarah (even though you can't really see her.

Our Christmas Tree

Splish Spalshin'

December 13: Lauren was so.. excited to experience the water coming out of the tap this evening.

Santas

December 13: Lauren checking out my Santa collection.  Instead of the collection growing, it has decreased in number the past couple of years (children have been mean to Santa).

Toy Shopping

Well we didn't buy any toys, but the kids sure had fun looking.

Vancouver Christmas Market

December 12: Today our family took the sky train to the Vancouver Christmas Market.  It was pretty small and not overly exciting, however it was great to go on a day trip as a family and do something in the spirit of Christmas.

Advent has Begun

Tis the Season for Chocolate Advent

Skating

Novemebr 30: Our family went skating today!  Barrie and Merel were here for the weekend, so we joined them at the ARC.  Babies can't go on the ice, so I had to stay with Lauren.  Sarah and Calvin were pretty funny to watch.  More great memories with family.

O Christmas Tree

November 20  We set up the mini Christmas tree in Sarah's room today. She LOVES it!  The lights also make the perfect night light.  So excited that Christmas is coming!

Lauren Turns One!

November 16.  Wow, I can hardly believe my baby is one already! Life with Lauren in it is just so much sweeter.  We had a little cake smash for her a few days ago.  Sarah and Calvin stood at the side lines, cheering Lauren on while they waited for their piece of cake. Lauren seemed to fully enjoy her moment in the spotlight.

The perfect way to end the day... storytime with grandma.
