So Thankful for Peas, Carrots and Rice Krispies

These three foods have brought happiness to family meal times once again. Calvin loves picking up the little foods and feeding himself, therefore keeping him busy at the table while we eat. Cooked peas and carrot chunks are perfect for lunch and dinner time. Rice krispies are the perfect before and after food for breakfast and whenever we don't have peas and carrots to give him. Rice Krispies are now a staple in our home. I never thought to give Sarah Rice Krisipies when she was little, I only ever heard of people giving their kids cheerios, fish crackers, etc. But Rice Krispies are brilliant! They are small, non sugary, pretty much dissolve in your mouth, and are great for baby's fine motor skills. Yahoo!

This little cereal has made me a happy mommy and made Calvin a happy little boy!

We used to give rice crispies to Adrianna and we loved it. It kept her busy for quite a while (in baby time). I also learned from daycare to steam baby carrots a bit for Adrianna...that way I don't have to worry about choking, it's easy to pack and Adrianna can have a piece that is easy to hold and bite off.

Puffed Wheat is also a great treat for the kids! Ali still loves it!
