At the Race Track

This afternoon we headed out to the race track for something to do. I saw an ad in the newspaper that it was Family Day at the track, there was free pony rides, bouncy castle, etc and cheap treats. Sounded like a great afternoon. We had never been to the track before, but we weren't disappointed. There was lots going on and Sarah had a wonderful time, and therefore so did we!

Watching the horses

We weren't sure if Sarah would want a pony ride or not, we thought she may be a little scared of the horses. We were very wrong! She LOVED them and probably would have rode all day if she was allowed. She ended up having three rides. After the first one we had to hold her back so that she didn't run right up to the pony.

They had Haagan Dass Ice Cream for $1 per bar, so David and I hooked it up! Sarah LOVED the bouncy castle and not surprisingly showed no fear. There were also clowns with free face painting and balloon animals. Sarah got a little pink horse.
A fun afternoon. Since they have family day about once a month or so, I think we'll be back.
