Sarah turns Three!

Today we celebrated Sarah's third birthday by spending the day at Disney World's Animal Kingdom. When we planned our trip to Florida we didn't even realize that Sarah's birthday was while we were here. What a treat to spend a birthday at Disney! She got a special birthday pin which she was proud to wear for the first 10 minutes then insisted that she take it off. Oh well. The kids loved all the up close animal exhibits, so much better than any zoo I've ever been to.

We all loved the animal safari adventure! Sarah was thrilled with the sight of every animal, saying it's name and matching it to the animal poster in our "jeep." We've been amazed how we've already seen growth in both kids vocabulary since we've got here. Just so many great experience, things to see and talk about.

Sarah and I were asked to join a group of African drummers while in "Africa." Sarah didn't really know what to think of the whole thing but enjoyed being up at the front.

Me and my girl, dancing on her birthday!

A little extra drumming.
Calvin waving to the camera, such a cute little man. We got them both Disney shirts from Walmart (in the states) before we left home. We figured it would be much better to spend $3 on a shirt versus what they would charge in Disney. We also purchased a variety of little Disney toys, etc from the dollar store to give to the kids while we're here (also much better than what you would pay at Disney).

The kids LOVED the parade!
The long drive, hot sun, etc are all worth it for moments like these. Nothing beats seeing the joy and excitement on the kids faces.

What an amazing third birthday for little Sarah! We all had a great day! By the time we got home we were all very tired, so it was food, bath and bed.
