Sarah will have her main birthday cake tomorrow at our family Easter get together. But since today is her big day we had to give her a little taste.

It seems that our little girl doesn't like to get very messy, she prefered the spoon.
She enjoyed the feeling of the sticky cake and pudding on her hands.

David eventually took the bowl away and just dumped some cake on her tray.

Oh she is so precious! Her smiles can melt any heart! I can't believe a year has gone by.
You gotta love the first birthday and cake exploration ... love the pictures where she's covered in chocolate. Ethan had his first birthday last year on Easter; we loved that we got to celebrate multiple times as we met with our families and friends. I wish they would fall together every year!
