Today the kids and I made crayon hearts in preparation for our Valentines Party. Sarah loved helping peal the paper off the crayons and Calvin was keen to help break them.

Our heart mold was pretty big, so we've got some good size crayon hearts to give out at the party. Want to make your own? We got a bag of crayons from the thrift store for $1.50 (thanks mom), which made 12 large sized heart crayons. I picked up the silicone heart mold from Walmart ($3.50 or you could borrow mine if you're close by). A fun morning!

Love it! I've seen that idea and have been halted by the lack of broken crayons :)
