11 years ago on the steps of a cathederal in Lausanne, Switzerland, I met my wonderful friend Avril. Just over a week ago, we went for a walk with our amazing husbands and precious children. On those steps, 11 years ago, who would have thought that we would still be such great friends today!?! From weddings, in between, babies and toddlers, there is something so special about a friendship over time.I am so thankful for Avril's friendship and the amazing reality that our families get along so...well. It's not an easy thing to find great couple friends and so David and I feel truly blessed to have many wonderful "couple friends" in our lives. Now with kids, these are some of our great "family friends."

After good times in the park we thought we would try to brave Dragon Fort for lunch. Yikes, that was an experience that reminded us why we don't frequent resturants with our kids.
