On Saturday (the day of my brother's wedding) Calvin turned two! I can hardly believe it; time has gone by so fast in so many ways. This little guy is such a blessing to our family! His big smile, giggle and charming personality are impossible not to love. He talks a lot and does pretty much everything that his big sister does. Calvin has lots of energy and love to play with his trains, cars & trucks and animals. He also loves to be outside whenever possible. We've also been working on potty training, and amazingly he's doing great!
Happy Birthday Calvin; we love you!!

Barrie and Merel Get Married!
On Friday morning we drove up to Enderby/ Salmon Arm for my brothers wedding. They had a lovely wedding! We are so thrilled to have Merel join our family! We couldn't ask for a better woman for Barrie, they seem so well suited in so many ways. Barrie, we are so... happy and proud of you! It's hard to believe that all my siblings are married now, amazing how our family continues to grow.
FREE Halloween Cards
For 2 days only (October 24-25 at 11pm Pacific time) I'm giving away customized Halloween cards on my website, http://www.dolcettodesigns.com/category_50/FREE-Halloween-Cards.htm. Who doesn't love free stuff!?! Especially cute little cards like this. I've spent my spare moments today creating lots of Halloween cards for people; kids in costume, kids on pumpkins, fall family pics, etc. Tomorrow is sure to be an even busier day! I love working with so many families through the years as well as meeting new clients. Feeling blessed.

Willowview Farm
On Monday I took the kids to Willowview Farm in Abbotsford, where I met up with Sharalee and the girls. Calvin and Sarah were thrilled to see their cousin Chloe! They loved the pumpkins, animals and being able to play outside. Normally we always go to the pumpkin patch as a family but since David has been working so much and we have my brother's wedding in Salmon Arm this coming weekend, I didn't know if that would end up happening. So I figured I would take the kids anyways and if we can make it a second time as a family then that would be a bonus too.
Checking out Aldergrove Lake
Before I meet up with a family at a photo site, I always try to check it out myself first if possible. Since I had a whole lot of mini sessions booked, I had to make sure that I loved the location (hadn't been there in years). It rained so much the 2 weeks before, so I felt like making it to the park was very difficult. Eventually I took the kids out and we checked out the
site, thankfully all was well.
The past two Saturday's I had 13 families meet me for 30-40 minute mini sessions. It was a lot of fun and I was really happy with the experience. Hopefully everyone else was too! If you want to see a few of the photos, feel free to check out my business blog here, http://www.dolcettodesigns.com/blog/
