On Monday afternoon Vic and Diane from Abbotsford came to visit us. Diane taught grade four at MEI at the same time that I did. She retired at the end of last year and has therefore been enjoying her time off. They're out in Ontario for Vic to attend a work related conference. I was thrilled that they fit us into their busy travel schedule. Vic is into the sciences and previously taught at BCIT. Since he's into the food sciences he was interested in what David is studying, so David took him to Brock to show him around. The two got alone very well and had lots to talk about. Meanwhile Diane and I were able to catch up on life and chat a little about teaching.
Diane, it was truly wonderful to see you!
