On Friday evening David got all dressed up and went to the big wine award gala here in Niagara Falls. Here he is pictured with the other classmates that got tickets to the event. Since extra tickets cost $200 I was staying home with Sarah. Perhaps I'll get to go when he's actually up for an award one day? Anyways, he had a fabulous time and loved the food just as much, if not more, than the wine.
The two women on the ends are his profs. Being in a small program, being a TA for one of his courses and volunteering for everything possible, he's getting to know his profs pretty good.

On Saturday David voluntered at another wine tasting event for writers, experts, etc. After each of these events he seems to be bringing free wines home. He's thrilled!
