A couple of days ago David snapped these photos of Sarah on the couch with her bedtime bottle. Little did we know that was to be her last bottle. A few minutes after the photos were taken, Sarah finished off her bottle and went to bed. I then realized that she had almost bitten the top of the nipple right off. Looks like the bottle days are over. I had just tried taking away the morning bottle the day before but Sarah wasn't too keen on milk in the cup. Well, after a couple of days she now happily has her milk in her sippy cup (without the valve for fast flow). She still prefers regular cups, but the sippy cup gives us all the freedom we need at the beginning and end of the day. On another note, the little potty has now got a place in our tiny washroom. I've decided to start the daunting task of potty training slowly and gradually. I don't have any big hopes for this at the moment, don't even know if she's ready. The only plan for the time being is to encourage Sarah to sit on it in the morning, mid day and before bed. We'll see how it goes.

Sounds like a fairly smooth transition from bottle to cup. That's always a relief. Good luck with the potty training. :)
